Curriculum:
Throughout this course, you’ll explore the rich tapestry of yoga’s history and philosophy, uncovering the wisdom of ancient texts like Patanjali’s Sutras and the Buddha’s sermons. You’ll deepen your connection to yogic tradition through Sanskrit and chanting, awakening the vibrational power of language and sound. Meditation and pranayama will become daily anchors, helping you cultivate stillness, clarity, and conscious breath. You’ll journey through the 10 Paramitas—powerful teachings of virtue and compassion—and discover how they inform both your practice and your life. With a grounding in functional anatomy and physiology, you’ll gain insight into the body’s natural intelligence, while exploring the science of respiration and the anatomy of the heart, both physically and energetically. You’ll also dive into the neuroscience of empathy, understanding how yoga supports emotional regulation, connection, and healing. Central to this training are the 7 Doorways of Vinyasa and their mastery—a framework for creating meaningful, transformative movement experiences. By the end of the course, you’ll leave with a deeper understanding of yourself, a broadened view of yoga, and the tools to lead classes that inspire from the inside out.
